Htop
htop is an interactive system monitor process viewer and process manager. It is designed as an alternative to the Unix program top (software), top. It shows a frequently updated list of the processes running on a computer, normally ordered by the amount of CPU usage. Unlike top, htop provides a full list of processes running, instead of the top resource-consuming processes. htop uses color and gives visual information about central processing unit, processor, swap space, swap and random-access memory, memory status. htop can also display the processes as a tree. Top (software)
top is a task manager or system monitor program, found in many Unix-like operating systems, that displays information about CPU and memory utilization. Overview The program produces an ordered list of running processes selected by user-specified criteria, and updates it periodically. Default ordering is by CPU usage, and only the top CPU consumers are shown (hence the name). top shows how much processing power and memory are being used, as well as other information about the running processes. Some versions of top allow extensive customization of the display, such as choice of columns or sorting method. top is useful for system administrators, as it shows which users and processes are consuming the most system resources at any given time. MorphOS
MorphOS is an AmigaOS-like operating system designed for Power and PowerPC based computers. The core, based on the Quark microkernel, is proprietary, although several libraries and other parts are open source, such as the Ambient desktop. In computing, tasklist is a command (computing), command available in Microsoft Windows and in the AROS Research Operating System, AROS shell.
