Targa High Country is a tarmac-based rallying, rally event held in the state of Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia, annually. The inaugural event was 2010 Targa High Country, 2010. The event has a short course design of approximately 200 competitive kilometres covered in two days over sixteen closed road competitive rally stages. Nissan GTR
The Nissan GT-R (''Gran Turismo–Racing''; model code: R35; Japanese: 日産・GT-R; ''Nissan GT-R'') is a series of cars built by Japanese marque Nissan from 2007 to 2025. It has a 2+2 seating layout and is considered both a sports car and a grand tourer. The engine is front-mid mounted and drives all four wheels. It succeeds the Nissan Skyline GT-R, a high-performance variant of the Nissan Skyline. Although this model was the sixth-generation to bear the GT-R name, it is no longer part of the Skyline line-up. Targa Canada West
Targa Canada West was to be a tarmac-based rally race in British Columbia, Canada. It was to take place on closed public roads in host communities, and historically stems from the popular Targa Florio and later the Mille Miglia. Cars compete against the clock on paved roads: the cars start at 30 second intervals on 'special' or 'competition stages' of 10 to 25 km each (these roads are safely and temporarily closed to the public). In between competition stages, the vehicles 'transit' on public roads and conform to regular road rules. The events are open to street-legal sports cars of all makes, models and vintages – with some exceptions (e.g. convertibles require a hard top and roll bar). Targa Newfoundland is a rallying, rally race held annually every September since 2002 in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is the most prestigious tarmac rally in North America. Targa West
Targa West was a rally event held in and around Perth, Western Australia between 2005 and 2021. The event takes its name from the Targa Florio, a former motoring event held on the island of Sicily, as well as more recent Australian events including Targa Tasmania, now defunct East Coast Targa, Targa New Zealand and Classic Adelaide. The inaugural event was held in 2005 and won by Ross Dunkerton. Targa Florio
The Targa Florio was a public road Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance automobile race held in the mountains of Sicily near the island's capital of Palermo, Sicily, Palermo. Founded in 1906 Targa Florio, 1906, it was the oldest sports car racing event, part of the World Sportscar Championship between 1955 and 1973. While the first races consisted of a whole tour of the island, the track length in the race's last decades was limited to the of the Circuito delle Madonie, Circuito Piccolo delle Madonie, which was lapped 11 times. The Targa New Zealand is a tarmac Rallying, rally held annually on public roads typically throughout the North Island of New Zealand. The main Targa each year begins in the last week of October and is a week-long event which covers around 1500 km of touring and 750 km of closed special stages. Smaller one- or two-day events are usually run during the year and have been variously titled Targa Bambina, Targa Dash, Targa Rotorua, Targa Tauranga and Targa Hawkes Bay. In 2014 Targa New Zealand for the first time was held in the South Island of New Zealand. Targa Tasmania is a tarmac-based rally event held on the island state of Tasmania, Australia, annually since 1992. The event takes its name from the Targa Florio, a former motoring event held on the island of Sicily. The competition concept is drawn directly from the best features of the Mille Miglia, the Coupe des Alpes and the Tour de Corse.
