Taoyuan County
Taoyuan County () is under the administration of Changde, Hunan, Hunan Province, China. The Yuan River, a tributary of the Yangtze, flows through Taoyuan. It covers an area of 4441 square kilometers, of which is arable land. It is from Zhangjiang Town, the county seat, to Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province. The county occupies the southwestern corner of Changde City and borders the prefecture-level city, prefecture-level cities of Zhangjiajie to the northwest and Huaihua to the southwest. Taoyuan () is a special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality located in northwestern Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City to the north-east, Yilan County, Taiwan, Yilan County to the south-east, and Hsinchu County to the south-west. Taoyuan District () is a District (Taiwan), district of Taoyuan City in northwestern Taiwan. Formerly a county-administered city also known as Taoyuan City () before 2014, when the former Taoyuan County was elevated to a special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality which is now known as Taoyuan City, which this district share with the same name. Taoyuan District ( Bunun: Ngani; ) is a mountain indigenous district of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It is the largest district in Kaohsiung City by area and the least densely populated district in Taiwan. The population is mainly the indigenous Bunun people and Saaroa people. Name The same Pinyin form, Taoyuan District, exists in two different districts in Taiwan: one is in Kaohsiung, the other is in Taoyuan City. Geography It is the district that is most mountainous and most distant from the city center.
