Tanah Abang
Tanah Abang () is a districts of Indonesia, district of Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The district hosts the biggest textile Market (place), market in Southeast Asia, Tanah Abang Market. It also hosts Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Kelurahan Gelora and the western half of the largely skyscraper-dominated Sudirman Central Business District. Namesakes It is also the name of two historic roads in Kelurahan South Petojo, Gambir, Jakarta, Gambir District. One of these roads, Tanah Abang 1, hosts the old Dutch Cemetery, now partly a museum, ''Taman Prasasti Museum, Museum Taman Prasasti'', and the burial place of Olivia Mariamne Devenish, Indo people, Eurasian wife of Stamford Raffles. Sir Thomas Stamford Bingley Raffles (5 July 1781 – 5 July 1826) was a British Colonial Office, colonial official who served as the List of governors of the Dutch East Indies, governor of the Dutch East Indies between 1811 and 1816 and lieutenant-governor of Bencoolen between 1818 and 1824. Bendungan Hilir (or abbreviated "Benhil") is an administrative village in the Tanah Abang district of Central Jakarta, Indonesia. It has a population of 20,025 people. Pejompongan and Bendungan Hilir neighborhood Pejompongan and Bendungan Hilir were two residential neighborhoods located to the west side of Krukut River and bounded by Penjernihan Road, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto and Sudirman Road. The neighborhoods were located to the north of Gelora Bung Karno sport complex. Pejompongan and Bendungan Hilir were among the first neighborhood developed after independence period. Transjakarta (stylised in all-lowercase, often erroneously called Busway, sometimes shortened as TJ and branded as TiJe) or Jakarta BRT is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Jakarta, Indonesia. The first BRT system in Southeast Asia, it commenced operations on 15 January 2004 to provide a fast public transport system to help reduce rush hour traffic. Tanah Abang Railway Station
Tanah Abang Station (THB) is a railway station located in Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. The station located to the east of West Flood Canal, and serves Rangkasbitung and Cikarang Loop lines of KRL Commuterline. The station and the canal are only separated by a small, narrow embankment and as such, Tanah Abang station is prone to flooding, especially during the heavy rain season. Tanah Abang station serves as the terminus for Rangkasbitung Line.
