Tamer Fernandes
Tamer Hasan Fernandes (born 7 December 1974) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper in the Football League for Brentford and Colchester United. Club career Beginning his career under the name Tamer Aouf, Fernandes began his career in the youth system at Brentford and signed his first professional contract at the end of the 1992–93 season. Over the course of the following five seasons he served as backup to Kevin Dearden and made just 17 appearances before agreeing a settlement to his contract and leaving Griffin Park in January 1998. He immediately joined Third Division high-flyers Colchester United, but failed to make an appearance during what remained of a 1997–98 season that saw the club win promotion to the Second Division via the playoffs. He made a breakthrough into the first team and made 8 appearances during the second half of the 1998–99 season, but was released in May 1999 and dropped into non-League football to join Isth ... Paddington
Paddington is an area within the City of Westminster, in Central London. First a medieval parish then a metropolitan borough, it was integrated with Westminster and Greater London in 1965. Football League First Division
The Football League First Division was a division of the Football League in England from 1888 until 2004. It was the top division in the English football league system from the season 1888–89 until 1991–92, a century in which the First Division's winning club became English men's football champions. The First Division contained between 12 and 24 clubs, playing each other home and away in a double round robin. The competition was based on two points for a win from 1888 until the increase to three points for a win in 1981. After the creation of the Premier League, the name First Division was given to the second-tier division (from 1992). The name ceased to exist after the 2003–04 First Division season. England Youth
England national under-18 football team, also known as England under-18s or England U18(s), represents England in association football at under-18 age level and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England. The team is coached by Neil Ryan. The team competed in the FIFA International Youth Tournament (later taken over by UEFA) and its successor, the UEFA European Under-18 Championship, and was often referred to as England Youth. After the tournament was renamed the European Under-18 Championship, England won twice more, in 1980 and 1993. In 1997, eligibility rules changed and the competition was rebranded as the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2001.
