Takashi Tezuka
is a Japanese video game designer, director, and producer. He is a senior officer in Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development division and is an Executive Officer at Nintendo itself. Tezuka was the right-hand man to Shigeru Miyamoto and co-director of the early ''Mario'' and '' Zelda'' games. Career Upon graduating from the Design Department of Osaka University of Arts, he joined Nintendo in April 1984 and became a co-designer of some of the most critically acclaimed Nintendo series, including ''Mario'' and ''The Legend of Zelda''. Super Mario
(also known as and is a platform game series created by Nintendo starring their mascot, Mario. It is the central series of the greater Mario (franchise), ''Mario'' franchise. Between August 6, 1995 and May 30, 1999, Nintendo, in collaboration with St.GIGA, broadcast three different ''The Legend of Zelda'' titles to fans for download via the Super Famicom's Satellaview subsystem. ''BS Zelda no Densetsu'', ''BS Zelda no Densetsu: MAP2'', and ''BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban'' all featured SoundLink narration which was the first time that Nintendo-sponsored ''Zelda'' titles made use of voice-actors to provide vocal tracks.The earlier CD-i titles were not sponsored by Nintendo and are considered by fans to lack canonicity.
