Tahtalı Mountain Range
The Tahtalı Mountain Range ( Turkish: ''Tahtalı DaÄŸları)'' are located in the Central Anatolian area of Turkey. It lies in the middle of the Taurus Mountains, mostly between the provinces of Kayseri, Adana, with smaller areas within the provinces of Sivas and KahramanmaraÅŸ. The mountain range is location to the southeast of Kayseri province, south of Siva, north of Adana and northwest of KahramanmaraÅŸ. The Tahtalı mountain range is between the two branches of the river Seyhan, as well as between Zamantı and Göksu. The sources of both branches are also the northern tip of Tahtalı which meet the river Seyhan at the southern tip. The Tahtalı Mountain range is about 170 km long and 50 km wide. Tahtalı Dağı, also known as Lycian Olympus, is a mountain near Kemer, a seaside resort on the Turkish Riviera in Antalya Province, Turkey. It was known as Olympus (; also transliterated as Olympos) and Phoenicus or Phoinikous () in ancient times. It is part of the BeydaÄŸları Coastal National Park. Visitors can ascend the summit with the Olympos Aerial Tram. The Lycian Way long distance trail traverses the mountain. Germanicopolis () was an ancient town in Bithynia, also known as Caesarea in Bythinia (not to be confused with Caesarea Germanica, as such a former bishopric and present Latin Catholic titular see.
