Sylvia Brustad (born 19 December 1966, in Elverum) is a former Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Education Brustad graduated from high school in 1983, and attended the media courses at the folk high school in Ringsaker until 1985. She then worked as a journalist, among other publications she worked for ''LO-aktuelt'', the news publication of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. Political career Parliament Brustad was elected to a county council seat in Hedmark following the local elections of 1987. In the 1989 election, she was elected to a seat in the Norwegian Parliament and left county politics. Erna Solberg
Erna Solberg (; born 24 February 1961) is a Norwegian politician and the current Leader of the Opposition. She served as the 35th prime minister of Norway from 2013 to 2021, and has been Leader of the Conservative Party since May 2004. Solberg was first elected to the Storting in 1989, and served as Minister of Local Government and Regional Development in Bondevik's Second Cabinet from 2001 to 2005. During her tenure, she oversaw the tightening of immigration policy and the preparation of a proposed reform of the administrative divisions of Norway. Elverum
is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Elverum. Other settlements in the municipality include Heradsbygd, Sørskogbygda, and Neverlia. Elverum lies at an important crossroads, with the town of Hamar to the west, the town of Kongsvinger to the south, and village of Innbygda and the Swedish border to the northeast. Hedmark is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. Ivar Arne Skulstad (born 16 May 1953) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Eidskog as a son of an industrial laborer and a shop worker. He spent his career in the Norwegian Army from 1972 to 1973, Magnor Glassverk from 1973 to 1975, NSB Reisebyrå from 1975 to 1988 and Hedmark Energi from 1988 to 1999. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Nils Olav Totland (born 17 December 1935) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was Minister of Administration from October 1993 to October 1996, in the third cabinet Brundtland. Valgerd Svarstad Haugland (born 23 August 1956) is a Norwegian teacher, politician and civil servant. She was leader of the Christian Democratic Party in Norway from 1995 to 2004.
