Sverrir Ingi Ingason
Sverrir Ingi Ingason (born 5 August 1993) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a defender for Greek Super League club PAOK and the Iceland national team. Sverrir previously played for Icelandic club Breiðablik UBK before transferring to Viking FK. After a successful spell at the Norwegian club he moved to Lokeren of Belgium. An Icelandic youth international, he participated at the UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup with the senior team. Early life Sverrir was born in Kópavogur, a city near by the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík. He started playing football at the age of 4 at his local club Breiðablik. The Iceland national football team (in ) represents Iceland in men's international football. The team is controlled by the Football Association of Iceland, and have been a FIFA member since 1947 and an UEFA member since 1957. The 2018 FIFA World Cup was the 21st FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national Association football, football teams organized by FIFA. The 2015–16 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 113th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It started in the last week of July 2015 and finished in May 2016. Gent were the defending champions. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Jón Daði Böðvarsson (transliterated as Jon Dadi Bodvarsson; born 25 May 1992) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a right winger or a striker for League One club Bolton Wanderers and the Iceland national team. Indriði Sigurðsson (born 12 October 1981) is an Icelandic former football defender. He last played for the Icelandic club KR Reykjavik. Club career He started his career in KR Reykjavik, and went to Norway to play for Lillestrøm SK in 2000. In September 2003 he moved on to KRC Genk in Belgium. Ólafur Helgi Kristjánsson (born 20 May 1968) is an Icelandic football manager and former player, who most recently managed Danish club Esbjerg fB. Playing career Kristjánsson started his playing career at FH Hafnarfjörður, before moving to KR Reykjavík in 1996. In 1996, he moved to Danish side AGF Aarhus. He retired in 2001 and became a youth coach at the team, and later assistant manager. Managerial career Kristjánsson took charge of Icelandic premier league team Fram on 30 June 2004, replacing Ion Geolgău. Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson (born 27 October 1990) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Burnley and the Iceland national team. Jóhann began his senior career at Breiðablik for a single season before moving to Dutch team AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie where they also participated in the Europa League.
