Takeshi Yagi
is a Japanese TV director/producer whose credits include Tsuburaya Productions' popular Ultra Series. Personal history Born in 1967, Yagi grew up during the boom of tokusatsu television shows in Japan. In the mid-1990s, he joined Tsuburaya Productions, the creators of the popular Ultra Series, working as an Assistant Director on TV series such as Ultraman Tiga. He made his directorial debut on the fourth episode of the TV mini-series Moon Spiral in 1996. He continued to serve as both a Director and Director of Special Effects for the majority of Tsuburaya Productions' Ultra Series until 2007. In 2004, Yagi was credited as the Main Director for Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy. The following year, he was promoted to Series Producer for 2005's Ultraman Max, where he made the popular decision to bring in acclaimed directors Shusuke Kaneko and Takashi Miike to direct episodes for the series. Ultraman Jack (character)
is the protagonist of the 1971–1972 ''tokusatsu'' Ultra Series, ''Return of Ultraman''. Sometime after Ultraseven's departure, Earth had entered a period of peace until a string of incidents wherein monsters awakened from slumber, appearing one after another. Ultraseven (character)
is a fictional superhero and is the second tokusatsu hero launched by the Ultra Series and, by extent, Tsuburaya Productions. His appearance succeeds both the first Ultra Warrior Ultraman (character), Ultraman, and his superior, Zoffy, and is officially the third Ultra Warrior from Nebula M78, the Land of Light. Ultraseven first appeared as the eponymous titular character alongside his "human guise, human form" Dan Moroboshi on the 1967-1968 Japanese television series, ''Ultraseven'', which ran for 48 episodes. This series was preceded by Tsuburaya's first Kyodai Hero genre series, ''Ultraman''. While both series shared the same genre with very similar heroes, there was originally no relation between the two.
