Joseph Talton Strong (born August 4, 1902, and died November 12, 1986) was a Negro leagues pitcher, playing for several teams. Jaelen Strong (born January 25, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Arizona State. Early years Strong's father, John Rankin, played college basketball at Drexel and died of leukemia in 2003 when Strong was 9. Strong attended West Catholic Preparatory High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he played football and ran track. As a junior, he caught 24 passes for 385 yards with four touchdowns. Herbert Bertram Strong (13 February 1880 – 8 October 1944) was an English professional golfer. He was an organizer and founding member of the PGA of America and later became a successful golf course architect. As a player, Strong's best finish in a major championship was ninth place in the 1913 U.S. Open. Early life Strong was born on 13 February 1880 in Ramsgate, Kent, England, to William R.
