''Stripped'' is an acoustic EP by American rock band Hinder. The EP was released May 13, 2016 via The End Records. This is the band's first strictly acoustic project to be released and is their second EP, the first being their 2003 debut EP '' Far from Close''. Summary Before playing a show at the venue Ziggy's By The Sea in Wilmington, North Carolina on January 6, 2016 the band was interviewed by ''The Baltimore Sun'';during the interview the group announced that they had begun working on an acoustic EP and already started writing for their next studio album, singer Marshal Dutton said the projects should be released by the end of the year. On March 7, 2016 the band announced that the acoustic EP will be titled ''Stripped'' and will be released May 13, 2016. The EP will consist of 6 songs, 5 songs will be acoustic renditions of previously recorded Hinder tracks while the first track will be a cover of the group K's Choice song "Not an Addict". Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson with bassist Mike Roden and guitarist Mark King joining in 2003, solidifying the line-up. The band released four studio albums with Winkler; '' Extreme Behavior'' (2005), '' Take It to the Limit'' (2008), '' All American Nightmare'' (2010) and '' Welcome to the Freakshow'' (2012). Cody Hanson, along with former lead singer Austin Winkler, wrote the majority of the band's music on their first four albums. After Winkler left the band in 2013, they looked for a new lead vocalist, and added Marshal Dutton. They have since released '' When the Smoke Clears'' (2015) and '' The Reign'' (2017) with their new vocalist. Their seventh studio album is currently in the works. Joey Moi
Joey Moi is a Canadian record producer, audio engineer, mixer, songwriter, and musician. He is known for his work with the rock groups Nickelback and My Darkest Days, and country music acts Chris Lane, Dallas Smith, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen and Morgan Wallen. Moi was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, spending his first three years in Dawson City before moving to Gambier Island, British Columbia in 1979, then to Tumbler Ridge when he was ten. After graduating from Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, he moved to Vancouver, to attend the Audio Engineering program at the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound (CDIS). Austin John Winkler (born October 25, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician best known for being the former lead singer of the American rock band Hinder. Since his departure from Hinder, Winkler has continued his career, but as a solo artist, under the name Austin John. Austin's first release as a solo artist, a six-song EP titled ''Love Sick Radio'' was released on April 22, 2016. Sam Bettens (born in 1972) is a Belgian musician and the lead singer of the Belgian band K's Choice. In May 2019, he came out as a transgender man. Gert Bettens is the lead guitarist of the Belgian band K's Choice. He, with his brother Sam Bettens, is the face of the band. ''When the Smoke Clears'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Hinder. The album was released on May 12, 2015 by their new label The End Records and is their first album without former lead singer and founding member Austin John Winkler. It is also their first album to feature Marshal Dutton as the new lead vocalist.
