''Story'' is a New Zealand current affairs television program that aired on TV3 and was hosted by Duncan Garner Duncan Garner (born 8 March 1974) is a New Zealand radio and television host and journalist. He took over the Radio Live drive slot in December 2012 and was previously the Newshub political editor in Wellington. He moved to host '' The AM Sho ... and Heather du Plessis-Allan. It premiered on 10 August 2015, and aired 7–7:30 pm, Monday–Thursday. The final show aired on 16 December 2016. It was replaced by '' The Project'' in 2017. Multiple-camera Setup
The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. In this way, multiple shots are obtained in a single take without having to start and stop the action. This is more efficient for programs that are to be shown a short time after being shot as it reduces the time spent in film or video editing. Duncan Garner
Duncan Garner (born 8 March 1974) is a New Zealand radio and television host and journalist. He took over the Radio Live drive slot in December 2012 and was previously the Newshub political editor in Wellington. He moved to host '' The AM Show'' in 2017, which was broadcast on Three and Radio Live. Garner left Three on 23 August 2021, after a career of almost 20 years with the channel. After receiving a degree in communications from AUT, Garner began his career at TVNZ in the mid 1990s, as a political reporter for veteran broadcaster Paul Holmes. He was praised in his early career for his scoop-heavy journalism, winning the 2004 Newspaper Publishers' Association award for Television Political News Reporter after exposing a $195,000 golden handshake received by then- Labour Party MP John Tamihere. ''Campbell Live'' is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme that aired at 7pm (following 3 News) on TV3 and was hosted by John Campbell. ''Campbell Live'' conducted interviews of various notable personalities, including Al Gore, Robert Fisk, Tony Blair, as well as an array of celebrities, including Adam Lambert and Metallica. History TV3 announced plans to start a 7pm current affairs show in November 2004 after Paul Holmes, who presented a current affairs show called ''Holmes'' on TV1, left the state broadcaster to host a similar show on Prime. ''The Project'' is a New Zealand current affairs show hosted by Jesse Mulligan, Kanoa Lloyd, and Jeremy Corbett with rotating guest panelists. It premiered on 20 February 2017 as a replacement for ''Story'' and airs from 7 pm weeknights on Three. The show runs for half an hour. It was simulcast on RadioLive, Monday – Thursday, until 5 June 2017. The show's format was purchased from Roving Enterprises and is the same as that of the Australian version, '' The Project'', which airs on Network Ten. It presents light and topical current affairs content as well as comedy from recent news stories. Three ( mi, Toru), stylized as +HR=E, is a New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989 as TV3, it was New Zealand's first private broadcasting, privately owned television channel. The channel currently broadcasts nationally (with regional advertising targeting four markets) in digital free-to-air form via the state-owned Kordia on terrestrial and satellite.
