is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Trofors. There are several other villages including Fallmoen, Leiren, Majavatn, and Strendene. European route E6 highway and the Nordland Line run through the municipality from south to north. Trofors
Trofors is the administrative centre of the municipality of Grane, Nordland, Grane in Nordland county, Norway. It is located at the confluence of the rivers ''Austervefsna'' and ''Svenningdalselva'' which forms the large river Vefsna. The village of Leiren lies about to the southeast and the village of Majavatn lies about to the south. The village has a population (2018) of 835 and a population density of . Majavatn ( South Sámi: Maajehjaevrie) is a village in the municipality of Grane in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the eastern shore of the lake Majavatnet, just west of the boundary of Børgefjell National Park. The village of Leiren lies about to the northeast and the municipal center of Trofors lies about to the north. European route E6 ( no, Europavei 6, sv, Europaväg 6, or simply E6) is the main north-south thoroughfare through Norway as well as the west coast of Sweden. It is long and runs from the southern tip of Sweden at Trelleborg, into Norway and through almost all of the country north to the Arctic Circle and Nordkapp. The route ends in Kirkenes close to the Russian border.
