Stemme S6
The Stemme S6 is a two-seat touring motorglider manufactured by Stemme AG. Unlike the S10, the S6 has a non-retractable three-bladed propeller (that can feather like other touring motor gliders), a wider fuselage design, and tricycle landing gear, available both with fixed and retractable configurations. T-tail Aircraft
A T-tail is an empennage configuration in which the tailplane is mounted to the top of the fin. The arrangement looks like the capital letter T, hence the name. The T-tail differs from the standard configuration in which the tailplane is mounted to the fuselage at the base of the fin. Advantages T-tails were common in early jet aircraft. Designers were worried that an engine failure would otherwise damage the horizontal tail. Stemme AG is a German glider manufacturer. Aircraft production is complemented by service, maintenance and repair of their sports and personal aircraft. Starting in 2014 many Stemme glider structural components were made under contract by Remos AG. In April 2017 Stemme AG and Remos AG, manufacturers of the Remos GX series merged, under the name Stemme AG. Flat Four
A flat-four engine, also known as a horizontally opposed-four engine, is a four-cylinder piston engine with two banks of cylinders lying on opposite sides of a common crankshaft. The most common type of flat-four engine is the boxer-four engine, each pair of opposed pistons moves inwards and outwards at the same time. Strausberg
Strausberg () is a town in Brandenburg, Germany, located 30 km east of Berlin. With a population of about 27,000 it is the largest town in the district of Märkisch-Oderland.
