The State Taxation Administration (STA, Chinese: 国家税务总局) is a ministerial-level department within the government of the People's Republic of China. It is under the direction of the State Council, and is responsible for the collection of taxes and enforces the state revenue laws. Previously known as State Administration of Taxation. Xiao Jie
Xiao Jie (; born June 1957) is a Chinese politician and an important political aide of Premier Li Keqiang. He is serving as the State Councilor and the Secretary General of the State Council. Xiao served as the Minister of Finance from November 2016 to March 2018. Xie Xuren
Xie Xuren (; born October 1947) is a Chinese politician, serving since 2013 as the Chair of the National Council for Social Security Fund. Previously he served as Minister of Finance of People's Republic of China, and Director-General of the State Administration of Taxation. He was also a member of the 17th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Biography Xie was born in 1947 in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. Xie first worked for Ningbo Zhenhai Machinery Factory. At beginning, Xie was in charge of the factory's general facilities, but later he was promoted to its vice-president. Xie joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1980. From September 1981 to January 1984, Xie studied at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou and majored in industrial finance management. Jin Renqing
Jin Renqing (; 29 July 1944 – 28 August 2021) was a Chinese politician, member of the 16th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, serving as deputy chief of the Development Research Center of the State Council. He also served as finance minister from 2003 to 2007. Biography Jin was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu, on 29 July 1944. Jin served in such positions as commissioner of the State Administration of Taxation, vice governor of Yunnan, deputy secretary general of the State Council, and executive vice mayor of Beijing. He served as Finance Minister, from 2003 until his resignation at age 63 in August 2007. During his tenure, China enjoyed economic growth and an increase in foreign currency reserves, while also experiencing an increase in its trade deficit to the US. Liu Zhongli (; born October 1934) is the former Minister of Finance of the People's Republic of China, and former director of State Administration of Taxation of PRC. He also served as first president of National Council for Social Security Fund of PRC. He is the current president of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Club career Jin Xin started his professional career in 2010 when he was promoted to China League One side Hubei Luyin's first team squad.
