''Sri Bannari Amman'' is a 2002 Tamil-language devotional film written and directed by Bharathi Kannan. The film featured Vijayashanti in the title role being her 175th project alongside Karan and Laya, while Vadivelu plays a supporting role. The film, which had music composed by T. Bharathi Kannan
S.Bharathi Kannan is an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil films. He was primarily active in the 1990s and early 2000 and is most noted for his work on devotional films. Career He started his career in 1981, joining as an assistant director to Nellai Sunderrajan and went on to continue such roles for the next fifteen years, while appearing in a few supporting roles as actor notably in ''Nethiyadi'' and ''Jadikketha Moodi'' (1989). He then apprenticed for a series of films under director K. Shankar, while looking for a producer for his first script. Meanwhile, he also worked as a distributor for films, releasing '' Guna'' and '' Pandiyan'' in Tirunelveli. Harini (singer)
Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer who sings in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films, working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu. Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four. In her later years, she learned from Sudha Raghunathan and currently from Suguna Purushotthaman. She used to participate in school competitions and in one such competition which she won, A. R. Rahman who distributed the prizes invited the winners to his studio to record their voices. Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendar, nicknamed as Simbu or his initials S. T. R., is an Indian actor, filmmaker and musician in Tamil cinema. Bonda Mani is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. He has worked in comedy and supporting roles in over 270 films. Career Bonda Mani has described that his stage name is derived from his diet of bondas, when he was a struggling actor, and the suffix of his mentor, Goundamani.
