Springwood State High School
Springwood State High School is a Queensland state school located in the Logan City suburb of Springwood. The school opened in 1977 to Grade 8 students with its official opening in 1978. Springwood State High School is situated on of bushland and includes a lagoon which is used by senior Biology students. In addition to this, the school is home to many native animal species including Koalas, Wallabies and many species of birds. The school is home to one of fifteen air quality monitoring stations in South East Queensland. Grant Steven Musgrove (born 28 March 1968) is an Australian public figure. Roles have included Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR), the peak industry body for the resource recovery industry, a senior university advisor and member of parliament. Steven Johnson (born 6 September 1974) is an Australian racing driver. He is the son of former racer and now team-owner Dick Johnson. He competed full-time for Dick Johnson Racing from 2000–2012. Johnson is married and has two children. Aidan Patrick McLindon (born 26 February 1980) is an Australian politician. He was first elected for the seat of Beaudesert to the Queensland State Parliament for the Liberal National Party at the 2009 state election. He resigned from that party to become an independent in May 2010, and in June 2010 he established The Queensland Party, which he merged with Katter's Australian Party in August 2011. Jodie Clare Henry, OAM (born 17 November 1983) is an Australian competitive swimmer, Olympic gold medallist and former world-record holder.
