''Splash Splash Love'' () is a South Korean television series starring Kim Seul-gi and Yoon Doo-joon. It initially aired on web platform Naver TV Cast in a 10-episode format. It was then broadcast by MBC on December 13 and 20, 2015 in two 60-minute episodes. The series aired two years after the popular novel ''Moonlight Drawn by Clouds'' was serialized on Naver in 2013. Like ''Splash'', ''Moonlight'' is about the love story between a cross-dressing eunuch and a monarch. The novel is the original work from which the drama ''Love in the Moonlight'' (2016) was adapted from. Plot Danbi is a senior high school student taking the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). Jang Yeong-sil
Jang Yeong-sil (; ; 1390 – after 1442) was a Korean mechanical engineer, scientist, and inventor during the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897). Although Jang was born as a peasant, King Sejong allowed Jang to work at the royal palace. Jang's inventions, such as the Cheugugi (the rain gauge) and the water gauge, highlight the technological advancements of the Joseon Dynasty. Early years Jang Yeong-sil's birth is recorded only in the genealogy of the Jang family and in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. According to these records, his father, Jang Seong-hwi, was the 8th generation of the Jang family. Queen Wongyeong
Queen Wongyeong (원경왕후 민씨; 29 July 1365 – 18 August 1420) of the Yeoheung Min clan, was the primary wife of Taejong of Joseon, and the mother of Sejong the Great. Hwang Hui
Hwang Hui (8 March 1363 – 28 February 1452) was a politician of the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties, who came from the Jangsu Hwang clan and once served as prime minister of the Joseon dynasty from 1431 to 1449. Biography Hwang Hui was an official of the Goryeo dynasty. He became an official in the Joseon dynasty in 1394. Hwang Hui was once banished from Seoul because he advocated Yangnyeong, the eldest prince of King Taejong, despite his bad behavior in 1418.
