Special Teamz
Special Teamz is an American hip hop group made of Boston rappers Edo G (formerly of Da Bulldogs), Jaysaun (formerly of the Kreators) and Slaine (of La Coka Nostra). All three members are of different racial backgrounds: Edo G is African-American, Jaysaun is mixed Puerto Rican, African-American, and Jewish, and Slaine is Irish-American. In 2005, the group released a self-titled mixtape cd (mixed by DJ Jayceeoh, who also supports Special Teamz live on stage) and a 12" vinyl single, and then went on what was almost a two-year search for a record label. Eventually, Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah engaged a deal signing the group to Duck Down Records. They released their debut album "Stereotypez" on September 25, 2007, with production by Pete Rock, Ill Bill, DJ Premier, and several up and coming producers from Boston. Jacob Charles Osher, (born June 6, 1982), more popularly known as Jayceeoh, is an American DJ, record producer and Turntablist . He is the founder of label imprint, "Super 7 Records". Biography (2013 - present) His debut original release titled "DAMN," a collaboration with fellow turntablist, DJ Scene, was released on "Fools Gold Records" in November 2013. Christopher Edward Martin (born March 21, 1966), known professionally as DJ Premier (also known as Preemo), is an American record producer and DJ. Peter O. Phillips (born June 21, 1970), better known by his stage name Pete Rock, is an American record producer, DJ and rapper. Heltah Skeltah was an American hip hop duo which consisted of rappers Jahmal "Rock" Bush and Sean "Ruck" Price. The two were also members of New York supergroup Boot Camp Clik, along with Buckshot, Smif-N-Wessun and O.G.C.
