Sous Le Signe De Monte-Cristo
''The Return of Monte Cristo'' (''Sous le signe de Monte-Cristo'') is a French film (1968) directed by André Hunebelle. Plot Edmond Dantes (Paul Barge), imprisoned in Sisteron for denouncing and allowing the dismemberment of a whole network of resistance, escapes in the company of his friend Bertuccio (Paul Le Person) in 1947 to South America. But the wreckage of the plane was soon rescued near Brazil and the two fugitives are considered dead. They save the life of a young girl, Linda (Claude Jade), and her father Louis (Gabriel Gascon) in the wilderness. One day Linda is kidnapped. The bandits seek to do violence. The release ended with the murdering of her father. Dantes and Bertuccio promise to never abandon Linda. The years pass, but the chances of their misfortune lead them to meet a drunk man, Faria (Pierre Brasseur), who claims to hold a treasure. André Hunebelle
André Hunebelle (1 September 1896 – 27 November 1985) was a French maître verrier (master glassmaker) and film director. Master Glass Artist After attending polytechnic school for mathematics, he became a decorator, a designer, and then a master glass maker in the mid-1920s (first recorded exhibition PARIS 1927 included piece "Fruit & Foliage"). His work is known for its clean lines, which are elegant and singularly strong. He exhibited his own glass in a luxurious store located at 2 Avenue Victor-Emmanuel III, at the roundabout of the Champs Èlysées in Paris. Etienne Franckhauser, who also made molds for Lalique and Sabino, made the molds for Hunebelle's glass which was fabricated by the crystal factory in Choisy-le-Roi, France. Gabriel Gascon
Gabriel Gascon (8 January 1927 – 30 May 2018) was a Canadian stage and film actor. Born in Montreal, Quebec to parents Charles-Auguste Gascon and Marie-Rose Dubuc, Gascon began his acting career after joining the Compagnons de Saint-Laurent with the help of his elder brother Jean. Gascon established his career in France, where he met Andrée Lachapelle. He died on 30 May 2018, aged 91. He was also the brother of filmmaker Gilles Gascon. Michel Auclair (born Vladimir Vujović, sr-cyr, Владимир Вујовић; 14 September 1922 – 7 January 1988) was an actor of Serbian and French ancestry, known best for his roles in French cinema.
