Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. A field goal is worth two points, unless made from behind the three-point line, when it is worth three. After a foul, timed play stops and the player fouled or designated to shoot a technical foul is given one, two or three one-point free throws. Rogaška Slatina
Rogaška Slatina (; german: Rohitsch-Sauerbrunn''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 4: ''Štajersko''. 1904. Vienna: C. Kr. Košarkarski klub Olimpija ( en, Olimpija Basketball Club) was a men's professional basketball club based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Olimpija has won 23 National League championships, including eight consecutive titles between 1992 and 1999. Kranj
Kranj (, german: Krainburg) is the third-largest city in Slovenia, with a population of 37,941 (2020). It is located approximately northwest of Ljubljana. Podčetrtek ( or ; german: Windisch Landsberg) is a settlement in eastern Slovenia by the river Sotla. It is the seat of the Municipality of Podčetrtek. The area belongs to the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Name The castle in Podčetrtek was mentioned in written sources in 1209 as ''de Landesperc'' (and as ''de Lonsperch'' in 1213, ''de Landesperch'' in 1227, and ''ze Lantsperch'' in 1328, among other names). The name appears on a 1763–87 map in both German and Slovene as ''Landsberg Windisch Pod Tschetertkom''. The name implies that the castle above the settlement was once called ''*Četrtek'' (literally, 'Thursday'). The motivation for the name is unknown. Košarkarski klub Šentjur ( en, Šentjur Basketball Club), commonly referred to as KK Šentjur or simply Šentjur, is a basketball team based in Šentjur, Slovenia.
