Slayers Premium
is a 2001 Japanese anime short film written and directed by Junichi Satō. ''Premium'', the fifth and latest ''Slayers'' film, was first released in Japan on December 22, 2001, along with '' Sakura Wars: The Movie'', '' Di Gi Charat - A Trip to the Planet'' and '' Azumanga Daioh: The Animation''. This is the only ''Slayers'' movie so far to feature the characters of Gourry Gabriev, Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun, Zelgadis Greywords and Xellos. Naga the Serpent also has a small role, as "the octopus sorceress". Plot Lina and Gourry travel to the town of Acassi, known for its tasty octopus. However, the octopus meat is cursed, causing the person who eats it to only be able to speak takogo (タコ語, octopus language). Sorcerers and sorceresses cursed by this also cannot cast spells, since the spells have to be spoken in a common language in order for them to work. Naga The Serpent
is a fictional character in the light novel, anime, manga, radio drama and game versions of Hajime Kanzaka's media franchise ''Slayers'', who was introduced in ''Dragon Magazine'' in 1990. She is also often known as Naga the White Serpent, which is a more literal translation from Japanese ( 白蛇JP, "white snake"), and an early English version by A.D. Vision had her name transliterated as "Nahga". The name she is best known by is in reality an alias of Princess Gracia Ul Naga Saillune (Japanese: グレイシア=ウル=ナーガ=セイルーン ''Gureishia Uru Nāga Seirūn''). The character has great magical powers and an unstable but resilient personality. Junichi Satō
is a Japanese anime director, best known for working on '' shōjo''-based anime and in the magical girl genre. He was formerly associated with TYO Animations (formerly Hal Film Maker). Born in Ama, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, his first major work was directing the first two seasons of '' Sailor Moon'' for Toei Animation, after which he handed the position over to Kunihiko Ikuhara, although he continued to storyboard and direct episodes for the later seasons. He later went on to co-direct ''Ojamajo Doremi'' and ''Princess Tutu''. Sato served as chief director for long-runner '' Sgt. Yasunori Matsumoto
is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with Sigma Seven. Some of Matsumoto's most notable roles are Wataru Akiyama in '' Initial D'', Jean Havoc in '' Fullmetal Alchemist'', Magnum Ace in Shippū! Iron Leaguer, Gourry Gabriev in '' Slayers'' and Ryo Hibiki in '' Sonic Soldier Borgman''. His wife was voice actress Junko Sakuma, who died in March 2011. was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Taitō, Tokyo. He was best known for voicing Medama Oyaji in nearly every adaptation of Shigeru Mizuki's '' GeGeGe no Kitarō'' made during his lifetime. Louisa Michelle Christian (born March 18, 1973) is an American voice actress and ADR script writer at Funimation and Seraphim Digital/ Sentai Filmworks.
