Situka
''Situka (A Call for Action)'' is a Ugandan feature film about two lovers: Amanio ( Hellen Lukoma), an ambitious young woman with a passion for politics, who inspires her boyfriend Muganga (Bobi Wine), an industrious young daredevil, to stand up for justice in society. ''Situka'' explores relevant social issues, inspiring young people to be more involved in their communities, rather than expecting the government to provide for them. Synopsis Muganga runs a prominent bar near the university. Admired by his peers, he struggles with his purpose and influence until his girlfriend Amanio's life is put at risk. Hannington Bugingo (born 12 May 1981) is a Ugandan comedian, actor, film producer, and advertising strategist. He is the managing director of Fun Factory Uganda and also the founding president of The Uganda Comedians Association (TUCA). He is known for his role as Sam in ''Mizigo Express'' and also portrays various characters in Fun Factory's ''Comedicine''. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, known by his stage name Bobi Wine, is a Ugandan politician, singer, and actor. He is a former Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region. He also leads the National Unity Platform political party. In June 2019, he announced his candidacy for the 2021 Ugandan presidential election. He participated in the 2021 election where he lost to the incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, a result which Kyagulanyi and a large section of the public strongly disputed. On December 14, 2021, he was placed under house arrest by the Government of Uganda. He has continued to protest his arrest.
