Simon Oliver
Simon Oliver is a British-American comic book writer, best known for his creator-owned series '' The Exterminators'' and '' FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics'', published under DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. Career Simon Oliver was born in the United Kingdom but left the country in the early 90s. After traveling around the world for several years, he settled in Los Angeles, working in the film industry, mostly as a camera assistant on TV shows such as '' Once and Again'' and '' Joan of Arcadia''. Oliver began writing '' The Exterminators'' as a potential TV series but, after his early scripts were passed to Karen Berger, the Editor-in-Chief of DC Comics' Vertigo imprint, Oliver received an offer from the publisher to turn the series into a comic book. Newsarama is an American website that publishes news, interviews, and essays about the American comic book industry. It is owned by Future US. In June 2020, Newsarama was merged with the website GamesRadar+, also owned by FutureUS. History Newsarama began in mid-1995 as a series of Internet forum postings on the Prodigy comic book message boards by fan Mike Doran. In the forum postings, Doran shared comic book-related news items he had found across the World Wide Web and, as these postings became more regular and read widely, he gave them the title "Prodigy Comic Book Newswire." In January 1997, Doran began to post a version of the column titled ''The Comics Newswire'' on Usenet's various rec.arts.comics communities. Vertigo Comics, also known as DC Vertigo or simply Vertigo, was an imprint of American comic book publisher DC Comics started by editor Karen Berger in 1993. Sunny Lee (comics)
Sunny Lee is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Hany Lee. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 8 April 2009. Sunny was created by executive producer Susan Bower in response to criticism that ''Neighbours'' was "too white". Tyrone Templeton is a Canadian comic book artist and writer who has drawn a number of mainstream titles, TV-associated titles, and his own series. Career Templeton first received attention for ''Stig's Inferno'' ( Vortex Comics), now a cult favourite, which detailed the journey of its lead character into Hell in a parody of Dante's ''The Divine Comedy''. Templeton recalled that after reading the three books of The Divine Comedy, "I fell in love with them as stories. It took a bit to get past the language translations, but for a year or so, I was reading different versions, off and on, as my reading on subways and buses, getting to and from school."
