Simon Channing Williams (10 June 1945 – 11 April 2009) was a British film producer. Berkshire
Berkshire ( ; in the 17th century sometimes spelt phonetically as Barkeshire; abbreviated Berks.) is a historic county in South East England. One of the home counties, Berkshire was recognised by Queen Elizabeth II as the Royal County of Berkshire in 1957 because of the presence of Windsor Castle, and letters patent were issued in 1974. Fernando Ferreira Meirelles (; born 9 November 1955) is a Brazilian film director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for co-directing the film '' City of God'', released in 2002 in Brazil and in 2003 in the U.S. by Miramax Films, which received international critical acclaim. ''The Constant Gardener'' is a 2005 drama thriller film directed by Fernando Meirelles. The screenplay by Jeffrey Caine is based on John le Carré's 2001 novel of the same name. The story follows Justin Quayle ( Ralph Fiennes), a British diplomat in Kenya, as he tries to solve the murder of his wife Tessa ( Rachel Weisz), an Amnesty activist, alternating with many flashbacks telling the story of their love. The film was filmed on location in Loiyangalani and the slums of Kibera, a section of Nairobi, Kenya.
