Shape Up And Dance
''Shape Up and Dance'' was the umbrella name for a popular series of exercise instruction albums released in the United Kingdom between 1982 and 1984, during the 1980s aerobics craze. The albums were choreographed by Christina Brookes and each one was presented by a different well-known personality from the world of sport or entertainment. The music consisted of anonymous cover versions of hit records. The albums were released on vinyl and cassette. The first two albums in the collection sold well and enjoyed lengthy stays on the UK album charts, but the trend quickly lost impact. Jay Aston
Jay Hilda Aston (born 4 May 1961 in Purley, Surrey) is a British singer and occasional songwriter. She was a member of the British pop group Bucks Fizz from 1981 to 1985 and now under The Fizz. She was the youngest member of the group's original line-up, aged 19 when they won the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest. During Aston's membership, the group had 12 of their 13 UK top 40 hit singles, including three number one hits. Since 2009, she has performed alongside fellow original Bucks Fizz members Cheryl Baker and Mike Nolan. The group used to perform under the name the Original Bucks Fizz but are now known as the Fizz. Career Background Aston was born in Purley, Surrey, and came from a theatrical family. Her father was a comedian, while her mother had been a dancer before becoming her husband's straight man. Suzanne Danielle
Suzanne Danielle (nee Morris; born 14 January 1957) is an English former film and television actress. Career Danielle trained as a dancer at the Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts in her home town of Romford in Essex, and also attended Bedfords Park Community School in Straight Road, Harold Hill.
