The Shanghai Rego International School () was a private international school located in Minhang District, Shanghai, China. The school operated on the National Curriculum (UK), delivers the IB-Diploma Program to 16- to 18-year-olds and provides a learning environment for expatriate children aged 2–18. The school delivered the English National Curriculum from Nursery to Key Stage 5 (ages 2–18) which includes the ICGSE and A Level Programme. To accommodate non-native English speakers and to facilitate the transfer back to the home country, the school offered a fully integrated Mother Tongue Programme in Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Chinese. Lujiazui, also known under its Shanghainese name Lohkatse (, , lit. meaning " he Lu family's mouth"), is a locality in Shanghai, a peninsula formed by a bend in the Huangpu River. Since the early 1990s, Lujiazui has been developed specifically as a new financial district of Shanghai. Jing'an Temple
Jing'an Temple () is an esoteric Tangmi Buddhist temple on the West Nanjing Road in Shanghai. Jing'an District, where it is located, is named after the temple. History The original temple was first built in 247 AD in the Wu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China. Originally located beside the Suzhou Creek, it was relocated to the Jing'an site in 1216 during the Song dynasty. The temple was rebuilt in the Qing dynasty but, during the Cultural Revolution, the temple was razed and turned into a plastic factory. In 1983, the site was returned to its original purpose and the temple rebuilt. Over the years, the temple has been expanded, with the Jing'an Pagoda being completed in 2010. "New World") is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai. Xintiandi now refers to the wider area centered around Madang Road which includes both pedestrian-only and motor traffic roads.
