Seun Kuti
Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti (born 11 January 1983), who is called by the name Seun Kuti, is a Nigerian musician, singer and the youngest son of the famous Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti. Seun leads his father's former band Egypt 80. Biography The youngest son of Fela Kuti, Kuti was born in 1983. He became interested in music at the age of five, by the time he turned nine, he had started playing with his father's band, Egypt 80. Fela Kuti died in 1997 and Seun Kuti took to the role of leading Egypt 80. In 2008, the band released an album called ''Many Things''. This was the first album released under the moniker ''Sean Kuti & Egypt 80''. He is featured in Calle 13's song ''"Todo se mueve"'' (Everything Moves), on their 2010 album ''Entren los que quieran.'' Marsatac Festival
Marsatac is a festival of electronic music held at the end of September each year, in Marseille, France. Since 2009, the festival has had trouble finding a lasting location, and the City of Marseilles has often been criticized for not defending this popular event. Since 2012, the festival has also been held in Nîmes, one week before the Marseille event. In 2013, the festival took from the 19th to 29 November. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti (born 16 June 1962), popularly known as Femi Kuti, is a Nigerian musician born in London and raised in Lagos. He is the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and a grandchild of political campaigner, women's rights activist and traditional aristocrat Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. Occupy Nigeria was a socio-political protest movement that began in Nigeria on Monday, 2 January 2012 in response to the fuel subsidy removal by the Federal Government of President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday, 1 January 2012. Protests took place across the country, including in the cities of Kano, Surulere, Ojota ( -part of metropolitan Lagos ), Abuja, Minna, and at the Nigerian High Commission in London. The protests have been characterised by civil disobedience, civil resistance, strike actions, demonstrations and online activism. The use of social media services such as Twitter and Facebook was a prominent feature of the protests.
