Senorita (film)
''Señorita'' is a 1927 American silent action comedy film directed by Clarence Badger and starring Bebe Daniels. The film is a parody of The Mark of Zorro (1920), Bebe Daniels was one of the first actresses to play a female Zorro-like character. Clarence Badger
Clarence G. Badger (June 9, 1880 – June 17, 1964) was an American film director of feature films in the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s. His films include '' It'' and ''Red Hair'', more than a dozen features and shorts starring Will Rogers, and two features starring Raymond Griffith, ''Paths to Paradise'' and '' Hands Up!'' He moved to Australia to direct ''Rangle River'' (1936) and decided to retire there, only making one more feature, ''That Certain Something'' (1941). James Hall (actor)
James Hall (born James E. Brown; October 22, 1900 – June 7, 1940) was an American film actor. Career Born in Dallas, Texas, Hall debuted as an actor at age 15 in the ''Ziegfeld Follies''. Hall began his film career during the silent film era. He made his sound film debut in the 1929 film ''The Canary Murder Case'', opposite William Powell and Louise Brooks. In 1930, he co-starred in Howard Hughes' epic film, '' Hell's Angels''. His last film role was in the 1932 drama '' Manhattan Tower''. In the following years, he headlined in vaudeville at the Loew's State Theatres in 1932 and 1933 and in such independent stage productions as Ches Davis's 1934 edition of the ''Chicago Follies'' and in another show, the ''Showboat Follies'' at the Deadwood Theatre in South Dakota (1934). At the time of his death, he had fallen into obscurity and had been earning his livelihood by performing in small nightclubs and cabarets in New Jersey and New York. Zorro's Black Whip
''Zorro's Black Whip'' is a 1944 12-chapter film serial by Republic Pictures starring Linda Stirling. The film was made after the 1940 20th Century-Fox remake of '' The Mark of Zorro'' in order to capitalize on it. Republic was not able to use the character of Zorro himself, however, and despite the title, the hero(ine) is called The Black Whip throughout. The serial is set in pre-statehood Idaho, and involves a fight to prevent and ensure statehood by the villains and heroes respectively. Parts of the serial were reused as stock footage to pad out later serials such as '' Don Daredevil Rides Again'' (1951) and '' Man with the Steel Whip'' (1954) – despite the fact that both of those serials had male leads. ''The Bandit Queen'' is a 1950 American Western film directed by William Berke. and starring Barbara Britton, Willard Parker and Phillip Reed. as the leaders of a Robin Hood type band. Pedro Regas
Petros 'Pedro' Regas (born Panagiotis Thomas Regakos; April 18, 1897 – August 10, 1974 in Hollywood, Los Angeles), a veteran stage actor, Regas was spotted on the Broadway stage by Mary Pickford who persuaded him to go to Hollywood and be in pictures, which he did in 1920 and continued to play in films for 50 years.
