Saving Aimee
Saving Aimee were a British pop rock band from Hertfordshire. The band toured extensively for four years, and released three singles and an album produced by Justin Hawkins from The Darkness. On 14 December 2009 the band went on an indefinite hiatus. History The band formed in mid-2005. All members grew up together in St Albans, Cahill, Ishida and Lemon attended Nicholas Breakspear School. They recorded their first EP in 2006. Starting in 2007, the band toured throughout the UK, playing well over 350 shows. The band toured and played shows with the likes of McFly, Enter Shikari, Simple Plan, Fightstar, Kill Hannah, Justin Hawkins, The Ting Tings, The Blackout, Funeral for a Friend, We Are The Ocean, Don Broco, Frank Turner and Young Guns. Kill Hannah
Kill Hannah was an American rock band formed in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. The band released six studio albums, seven EPs, and two compilation albums as well as three DVDs. History Kill Hannah was formed by singer-songwriter Mat Devine in 1993. The band is named after Devine's ex-girlfriend. At the time, Devine was singing and playing guitar in a band called In a Jar UK. After the fallout with Hannah, Devine printed up stickers to place on In a Jar UK 7" records bearing the name "Kill Hannah." All of Kill Hannah's studio albums, EPs, promos, and demos between 1996 and 2000 were funded by entertainment lawyer Jack Daulton. Funeral for a Friend are a Welsh post-hardcore band from Bridgend, formed in 2001 and currently consists of Matthew Davies-Kreye (lead vocals), Kris Coombs-Roberts (guitar, backing vocals), Gavin Burrough (guitar, backing vocals), Darran Smith (guitar), Richard Boucher (bass), and Ryan Richards (drums, vocals). The Blackout are a post-hardcore band from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, formed in 2003. They released their EP ''The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout!'' Justin David Hawkins (born 17 March 1975) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and YouTube personality best known for being the founder, lead singer, and lead guitarist of The Darkness. He was influenced by rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s (particularly Queen, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, and AC/DC), Hawkins is the lead singer and guitarist for the band Hot Leg, formed in 2008 and now on hiatus. Fightstar are a British rock band from London that formed in 2003. The band is composed of lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Charlie Simpson, guitarist and co-vocalist Alex Westaway, bassist Dan Haigh and drummer Omar Abidi.
