Benjamin Saunders is a British-born academic and Program Director of the Comics and Cartoon Studies minor at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Ben Saunders (born 9 July 1983) is a Dutch singer who won the first-ever title of the Dutch singing competition series '' The Voice of Holland'' broadcast on RTL 4. Benjamin John Saunders (born 5 August 1977 in Plymouth) is an English polar explorer, endurance athlete, and motivational speaker. He led the first return journey to the South Pole on foot via Shackleton and Scott's route in 2013–14, and skied solo to the North Pole in 2004. Saunders has skied more than 3,700 miles (6,000 km) on polar expeditions since 2001. Sergeant Arthur Frederick Saunders VC (22 April 1878 – 30 July 1947) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
