Samayada Gombe
''Samayada Gombe'' () is a 1984 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed and co-produced by Dorai–Bhagavan. The film stars Rajkumar, Srinath, Roopa Devi and Menaka. It is based on the novel of same name written by Chitralekha. This is the first Kannada movie of Malayalam actress Menaka, who played the role of Rajkumar's sister and Srinath's wife in the movie. The film met with positive response upon release from critics and was declared a Blockbuster at the box office with seeing a theatrical run of at least 26 weeks. SK Bhagawan had revealed that Dr. Rajkumar's remuneration for the movie was Rs. 6 lakhs. One of the co-producers of the movie, Radhakrishna was the person who taught Sitar to Rajkumar and also happened to be the elder brother of director Dorairaj. Dorai–Bhagavan
Dorai–Bhagavan were an Indian filmmaking duo consisting of directors B. Dorai Raj (died 2000) and S. K. Bhagavan (born 1933), active mainly in Kannada cinema. They directed fifty films, most of which starred Rajkumar and were highly successful at box-office. Twenty-three of those films were based on novels. Bhagavan has been principal of Adarsha Film Institute, Bangalore. Film career S.K Bhagavan was born on 5 July 1933. He completed his schooling in Bangalore High school. At a young age, he was acting on stage dramas with Hirannaiah Mithra Mandali. He started his film career as an assistant to Kanagal Prabhakar Shastri in 1956 through the film ''Bhagyodaya''. Sadashiva Brahmavar
Sadashiva Brahmavar (1928–2018), known as Brahmavar, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films. He is best known for his supporting roles in such movies including Guri (1986), Samyuktha (1988) and Sri Manjunatha (2001). Personal life Native to Brahmavar in Udupi, Sadashiva was born and raised in Bailhongal, Belagavi. He had a son and daughter. Sadashiva made news in 2017 when he found roaming alone in Kumta city and many local people offered him help. He reunited with his children later.
