SCTV (Indonesia)
Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 24 August 1990 in Surabaya, East Java as Surabaya Centra Televisi, broadcasting to the city and its surrounding area. At first, the programming was similar to that of RCTI, broadcasting foreign shows and some of RCTI news programs until they could produce their own. On 30 January 1993, SCTV obtained a national license and eventually moved its operations to Jakarta, changing its name to Surya Citra Televisi. Its main offices are located in Central Jakarta, with studios in West Jakarta. It is owned by Surya Citra Media, a publicly-listed subsidiary of the technology company Emtek. On 18 February 2011, the commissioners of its parent companies Indosiar and SCTV agreed to a merger, although this was subject to government approval due to both companies going public. IndiHome (abbreviated from Indonesia Digital Home) is a home telephone, internet, and Internet Protocol television services owned by Telkom Indonesia. IndiHome was launched on 2015 to replace Speedy. Its packages also come with digital music portal services and Home Automation. Vidio is an Indonesia-based over-the-top video streaming service established on 15 October 2014. Originally owned by Kreatif Media Karya, it is now owned by Surya Citra Media, both of which is a subsidiary of Elang Mahkota Teknologi ( Emtek). The service's content consists of free-to-air and subscription channels, live streaming, films and dramas, and television. It is one of the largest streaming platforms in Southeast Asia. History Vidio was founded on 15 October 2014 and aimed to be the YouTube for Indonesians. Analog television is the original television technology that uses analog signals to transmit video and audio. In an analog television broadcast, the brightness, colors and sound are represented by amplitude, phase and frequency of an analog signal. Analog signals vary over a continuous range of possible values which means that electronic noise and interference may be introduced. Moji (TV Network)
Moji, stylized as mOȷı, previously known as O Channel, is an Indonesian free-to-air television network founded by Elang Mahkota Teknologi and MRA Media. MRA Media sold its stake in O Channel on 2007. Initially broadcasts as a local station in Jakarta, it broadcasts from 24 hours, 7 days a week. Since 2020, Moji has increasingly established itself to broadcast nationally through digital television on SCM's multiplexing channel ( SCTV or Indosiar), while increasing broadcast programs (especially sports programming) and slowly reducing home shopping programming.
