Sydney Football Stadium (2022)
Sydney Football Stadium, currently known as Allianz Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium in Moore Park, New South Wales, Moore Park, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Built as a replacement for the Sydney Football Stadium (1988), original Sydney Football Stadium, it was officially opened on 28 August 2022. The ground's major tenants are the Sydney Roosters of the National Rugby League, the New South Wales Waratahs of Super Rugby, and Sydney FC of the A-League Men. It was one of the venues for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, and will host 2027 Men's Rugby World Cup, 2027 Rugby World Cup matches.
