Svensktoppen
''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing on Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982–1985. In the years leading up to the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music. The first number one hit song was "Midnattstango" performed by Swedish crooner Lars Lönndahl. New rules on 17 January 2016 restricted the maximum length for a song to chart to one year. (; "dance band"), or in Norwegian and Danish, is a Swedish language, Swedish term for a band that plays (; "dance band music"). ' is often danced to in partner dance, pairs. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by schlager, country music, country, rock'n'roll and some swing music, swing. Anna-Lena Löfgren
Anna-Lena Löfgren (1 May 1944 – 21 May 2010) was a Swedish singer from Stockholm. During the years 1962 and 1995, more than 40 of her songs made it onto Svensktoppen, the record chart of Sveriges Radio. Löfgren became one of the most best known schlager singers in Sweden during the 1960s. She made her first public appearance on the radio show '' Barnens brevlåda'' in the 1950s. A few years later Löfgren was discovered by the Swedish rock singer Rock-Olga at the nightspot Nalen in Stockholm. Her breakthrough came soon after in 1962 with the song "Regniga natt", which was certified gold (sold more than 100,000 copies) and topped that year's Svensktoppen. Åke Per-Erik Strömmer (10 June 1936 – 22 February 2005) was a Swedish sports journalist, radio presenter and television host. Early life Strömmer was born on 10 June 1936 in Härnösand, Sweden, the son of Erik Strömmer, an accountant, and his wife May (née Bolin). He passed '' studentexamen'' in 1956. Per Nils Myrberg (; 11 July 1933 – 28 December 2023) was a Swedish singer and actor. He appeared in many films since 1957 including ''The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo''. Sven Gustaf Lindahl (born 25 June 1937, in Stockholm) is a Swedish journalist, songwriter, radio and television presenter. As a teenager, he played in a boogie-woogie band. Arne Georg Fredrik Weise (28 February 1930 – 25 September 2019) was a Swedish journalist and television personality, one of the presenters for Sveriges Television (SVT). P4 (''pe fyra'') is a national radio channel produced by the Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Radio.
