Svein Krøvel
Svein Krøvel (12 May 1946 – 29 December 2011) was a Norwegian cinematographer, known for his collaborations with director Knut Erik Jensen and Petter Næss. Krøvel worked on both documentaries and feature films. He started his feature film career in 1980. Since then he has been responsible for the photography of around 20 features, and collaborated with several of Norway's leading directors. Among the films Krøvel photographed and that have reached an international audience are ''Burnt by Frost'' (1997), ''Passing Darkness'' (2000) and ''Cool and Crazy (film), Cool and Crazy'' (2001), all of which were directed by Knut Erik Jensen. The latter film became a huge success in Norway. Krøvel also photographed Torun Lian's ''Only Clouds Move the Stars'' (1998), which was awarded the Ingmar Bergman prize in 1999. Knut Erik Jensen
Knut Erik Jensen (born 8 October 1940 in Honningsvåg, Finnmark) is a Norwegian film director, best known for his documentary '' Cool and Crazy''. Biography After studying French, Russian and history, Jensen attended the London Film School. In 1978, he joined the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), and has since made documentaries and short films for NRK as well as independently. Petter Næss
Petter Næss (born 14 March 1960, Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian actor, screenwriter, instructor, and film director. He debuted in 1999 with ''Absolutt blåmandag'' and directed films based on Ingvar Ambjørnsen's ''Elling'' series, including ''Elling'' (2001) and '' Elsk meg i morgen'' (2005). Torun Lian
Torun Lian (born 15 January 1956) is a Norwegian playwright, film director and novelist. She made her literary début in 1988 with the collection ''Tre skuespill'', for which she was awarded the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris. In 1995 she was awarded with the Nordic Children's Book Prize.
