Supernova (Lisa Lopes Album)
''Supernova'' is the debut solo studio album by American singer Lisa Lopes of TLC and is the only one released in her lifetime, prior to her traffic collision-related death in 2002. Despite failing to chart, it generally received positive reviews by the music critics. Album information The album's original titles were ''Fantasy1.com'' and ''A New Star Is Born'', but was eventually changed to ''Supernova''. The release date for the album was August 16, 2001, the day of her father's birthday, as well as her grandfather's death. This is alluded to in the lyrics of the song "A New Star Is Born". The United States release date was intended to be October 29, 2001, but the album's U.S. release was cancelled due to poor sales overseas. Lisa Lopes
Lisa Nicole Lopes (May 27, 1971 – April 25, 2002), also known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American singer and rapper. She was a member of the R&B girl group TLC, alongside Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Besides rapping and singing on TLC recordings, Lopes was the creative force behind the group, receiving more co-writing credits than the other members. She also designed some of their outfits and the stage for their FanMail Tour and contributed to the group's image, album titles, artworks, and music videos. Through her work with TLC, Lopes won four Grammy Awards. Natina Tiawana Reed (October 28, 1980 – October 26, 2012) was an American singer, rapper and actress. "Untouchable (Swizz Beatz Remix)" is a song by rapper Tupac Shakur. The song was released as a remix by Swizz Beatz and Krayzie Bone and was used to promote the 2006 posthumous album '' Pac's Life''. Tupac recorded the song in June, 1996, just prior to the Makaveli recording sessions. The original version has never been officially released. 7669 was an American R&B girl group, who were signed to Motown Records in the 1990s. The name 7669 was a fusion of US independence (1776) & the sexual revolution (1969). The group was composed of members Angela "Big Ange" Hunte, Marcy "Shorti 1 Forti" Roberts, El-Melek A. "El Boog-E" Moore and Mallore "Thicknezz" Irvine. Andre Previn Rison (born March 18, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Oakland Raiders. Ricardo Thomas, also known as Rick Rock, is an American record producer originally from Montgomery, Alabama and based in Fairfield, California. He is a founding member of the former rap group Cosmic Slop Shop and the Federation with fellow rapper Doonie Baby, and is regarded as a pioneer of the hip-hop subgenre Hyphy.
