''DC Nation Shorts'' are animated shorts featuring characters from DC Comics that aired in a series on Cartoon Network on Saturdays at 10/9c. Production On March 3, 2012, the shorts premiered as part of the ''DC Nation'' block, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. They are aired alongside '' Green Lantern: The Animated Series'' and ''Young Justice'', as well as with ''Beware the Batman'' and ''Teen Titans Go!'' in 2013. On June 8, 2012, Cartoon Network announced that it would revive the ''Teen Titans'' animated series as ''Teen Titans Go!'', based on the New Teen Titans shorts. Despite having one Cartoon Network / Warner Bros. Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld is a superhero published in American comic books created by DC Comics. Created by writers Dan Mishkin, Gary Cohn and artist Ernie Colón, she debuted in ''The Legion of Superheroes'' #298 in April 1983. Bane is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Chuck Dixon and artist Graham Nolan, he made his debut in ''Batman: Vengeance of Bane'' #1 (January 1993). Bane is usually depicted as a dangerous adversary of the superhero Batman, and belongs to the collective of enemies that make up the Batman's rogues gallery. Kirk Thornton is an American voice actor, director and script writer working mainly with English-language versions of Japanese anime shows.
