"Succession (Main Title Theme)" is the theme music of HBO's satirical dark comedy-drama television series ''Succession'' which plays during the title sequence. It was composed by Nicholas Britell in 2018 and was released by Milan Records and HBO on July 20, 2018. The theme was composed using piano tunes, layered with strings, brass, beats from the Roland TR-808 drum machine and percussive sounds to blend classical and hip hop music. The title theme was critically acclaimed and became hailed as "one of the best television show themes" while also being referenced in popular cultures, with being included in memes, remixes, fan projects, and TikTok viral trends. A remixed version of the theme song by rapper Pusha T was released in October 2019. Nicholas Britell
Nicholas Britell (born October 17, 1980) is an American film and television composer. He has received numerous accolades including an Emmy Award as well as nominations for three Academy Awards and a Grammy Award. He has received Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score for Barry Jenkins's ''Moonlight'' (2016) and '' If Beale Street Could Talk'' (2018), and Adam McKay's ''Don't Look Up'' (2021). He also scored McKay's ''The Big Short'' (2015) and ''Vice'' (2018). He is also known for scoring '' Battle of the Sexes'' (2017), '' The King'' (2019), '' Cruella'' (2021), and '' She Said'' (2022). The HBO original series ''Succession'' (2018–2023) marked Britell's entry into television. Artis Leon Ivey Jr. (August 1, 1963 – September 28, 2022), known by his stage name Coolio, was an American rapper. Firstpost is an Indian news website owned by Network18 Group, which also runs CNN-News18 and CNBC TV18. It has posted misinformation on multiple occasions. The Network 18 group was originally owned by Raghav Bahl. In January 2012, the group received an investment from Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries through a rights issue of up to .
