Stuart Baird
Stuart Baird (born 14 January 1947) is an English film editor, producer, and director who is mainly associated with action films. He has edited over thirty major motion pictures. Life and career Baird has had an extended collaboration with director Richard Donner. For Baird's work on '' Superman'' in 1978, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Film Editing. He received another nomination for editing ''Gorillas in the Mist'' (1988). Prior to his working relationship with Richard Donner, Baird worked as assistant director and assistant editor on different projects before editing Ken Russell's ''Tommy''. Baird worked with Russell on five major motion pictures. He edited ''Tommy'', '' Lisztomania'', and ''Valentino'' and served as associate producer on Ken Russell's ''Altered States''. Uxbridge
Uxbridge () is a suburban town in west London and the administrative headquarters of the London Borough of Hillingdon. Situated west-northwest of Charing Cross, it is one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan. Uxbridge formed part of the parish of Hillingdon in the county of Middlesex, and was a significant local commercial centre from an early time. The Omen
''The Omen'' is a 1976 supernatural horror film directed by Richard Donner and written by David Seltzer. ''Lisztomania'' is a 1975 British surreal comedy, surreal biographical film, biographical musical film, musical comedy film written and directed by Ken Russell about the 19th-century composer Franz Liszt. The screenplay is derived, in part, from the book ''Nélida'' by Marie d'Agoult (1848), about her Franz Liszt#With Countess Marie d'Agoult, affair with Liszt. Depicting the flamboyant Liszt as the first classical pop star, ''Lisztomania'' features contemporary rock star Roger Daltrey (of The Who) as Franz Liszt.
