Steve Mazur
Steven Theodore Mazur (born December 21, 1977) is an American guitarist, best known as the lead guitarist for alternative rock band Our Lady Peace. Mazur replaced original band guitarist Mike Turner in 2002. Early life and education Mazur has two sisters and two stepsisters and grew up in Richmond, Michigan, attending Cardinal Mooney Catholic College Preparatory High School in Marine City. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2000. At the commencement ceremony, he performed a solo acoustic guitar version of "Think About It," written by Herb Alpert, Will Calhoun, and Doug Wimbish. His first electric guitar was a black Yamaha RGX 112. Career Before joining Our Lady Peace, he was in many different bands including Dragonfly (with Jeff Gutt on vocals), Butter Jackson, Ph (pronounced ''F''), and Gabriel Mann's band. Port Huron, Michigan
Port Huron is a city in and seat of government of St. Clair County, Michigan, United States. The population was 28,983 at the 2020 census. The city is bordered on the west by Port Huron Township, but the two are administered autonomously. Port Huron is located along the source of the St. Clair River at the southern end of Lake Huron. The city is along the Canada–United States border and directly across the river from Sarnia, Ontario. ''Gravity'' is the fifth studio album by the Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace. It was released on June 18, 2002 by Columbia Records in North America. The album became a worldwide success, charting highly both in Canada and the United States with the hit singles " Somewhere Out There" and " Innocent". The album title, ''Gravity'', was inspired by the chorus lyrics "Falling back to me, defying gravity" from the track "Somewhere Out There". At the time of the album's release, OLP drummer Jeremy Taggart said that ''Gravity'' was "by far heirbest album".
