Stephen James King
Stephen James King (born 13 August 1983) is an Australian television and stage actor. Life and career A graduate of the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in Sydney, King leapt into the public eye on serial ''Home and Away'' in the regular role as Edward Dunglass in 1999. He then guest starred on the popular Sci-Fi series ''Farscape'' in 2004, and then performed on stage with the Sydney Theatre Company and Belvoir Street Theatre as a teenager. At the age of 20, King was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. Since graduating in 2008, he has appeared on stage at the New York Shakespeare Festival AKA Shakespeare in the Park with Sam Waterston, Lauren Ambrose and Michael Stuhlbarg, New York Theatre Workshop with Tim Robbins and at the Tony Award winning McCarter Theater, Princeton. The Juilliard School ( ) is a Private university, private performing arts music school, conservatory in New York City. The Peacekeeper Wars
''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'' is a military science fiction television miniseries written by Rockne S. O'Bannon and David Kemper and directed by Brian Henson. Following the original series' cancellation in September 2002, it aimed to wrap up the cliffhanger and tie up some elements of the series in general. It was broadcast on 17 and 18 October 2004. Henson and others have attributed the return of ''Farscape'' to the ongoing campaign of fans. Production began in December 2003. In May 2004 the Sci-Fi Channel, now owned by NBC Universal, announced that it would run a two-episode conclusion titled ''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars''. Tropfest
Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival. It has also become known as the world's first global film festival. Founded by actor/director John Polson, Tropfest began in 1993 as a screening for 200 people at the 'Tropicana Caffe' in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia, but has since become the largest platform for short films in the world. Tropfest Australia usually takes place in February each year in Sydney and it has been broadcast live via free-to-air television as well as global streaming and catch-up.
