BBC Symphony Orchestra
The BBC Symphony Orchestra (BBC SO) is a British orchestra based in London. Founded in 1930, it was the first permanent salaried orchestra in London, and is the only one of the city's five major symphony orchestras not to be self-governing. The BBC SO is the principal broadcast orchestra of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The orchestra was originally conceived in 1928 as a joint enterprise by the BBC and the conductor Sir Thomas Beecham, but the latter withdrew the next year and the task of assembling and training the orchestra fell to the BBC's director of music, Adrian Boult. Among its guest conductors in its first years was Arturo Toscanini, who judged it the finest orchestra he had ever conducted. ''Virtues'' is the third full-length studio album by pop-punk band Amber Pacific, released on April 13, 2010. This was the band's only album on Victory Records and their only without vocalist Matt Young, who left the group in early 2008 to pursue a career in public education. "Three Words" is the lead single off the album, released on March 23, 2010. It was written by the band's new vocalist, Jesse Cottam. This is also the last album with original bassist Greg Strong, who left the band in 2011. Truth In Sincerity
''Truth in Sincerity'' is the second full-length album by the pop punk band Amber Pacific and was one of the most anticipated pop punk albums of 2007. It was released on May 22, 2007. The first singles from the album were "Fall Back Into My Life" and "You're Only Young Once." Will Nutter has stated that "Follow Your Dreams, Forget The Scene" was made to a special fan of the band. The song "Runaway" features vocals from Mike Herrera of MxPx. On May 16, 2007, the entire album was available to stream on Amber Pacific's MySpace profile. The album sold around 10,000 copies in its first week in America and debuted at number 64 on the ''Billboard'' 200. It has now sold a total of 35,000 copies in the US.
