''Stato di necessità'' () is the fourth studio album of Italian singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli, released in 2000. The album followed the Consoli's participation in the Sanremo Music Festival 2000 with the song "In bianco e nero", and marked a significant change of style, with a softer and more acoustic sound. The title refers to Consoli's determination to embark on a new artistic phase of her career, and the song "Orfeo" is considered its manifesto. The album was recorded at the Waterbird Studio in Catania. It was the most successful album of Consoli, selling over 300,000 copies. A "Stato di necessità Tour" with over fifty dates followed the release of the album. Carmen Carla Consoli (; born 4 September 1974) is an Italian singer-songwriter. Described as 'a remarkable combination of rocker and intellectual', she has released 11 studio albums, one greatest hits, one soundtrack album, two live albums, four video album and 33 singles, selling 2 million copies in Italy, certified by M&D and FIMI with a multiplatinum disc, 11 platinum and two gold certifications. ''Mediamente isterica'' () is the third studio album of Italian singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli, released in 1998. The album was named after a verse of the lead single, "Besame Giuda". The cover, featuring Consoli as a siren, was ideated by Alberto Bettinetti. The album was recorded between May and August 1998 at the Cantinone Studio in Catania. A concept album, it features a series of female portraits, one for each song, and has deception as the main theme. The leading single "Besame Giuda" was released two weeks before the album, while the other singles were "Puramente casuale", the anti-war song "Eco di sirene" (whose music video was directed by Stefano Mordini), and "Autunno dolciastro" (only released as a promotional single). ''L'eccezione '' () is the fifth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli, released in 2002. Production The album had initially as working title ''La mia rivoluzione'' ('My Revolution'), a title which was scrapped when the same year singer-songwriter released a single with the same name. It was recorded in Sant'Alfio between February and June 2002 and mixed at Sterling Sound in New York. Release and artwork The album was released on 25 October 2002. The cover art is a picture taken by fashion photographer Rankin. Two days before its release, the album was anticipated by a "Carmen Consoli Day" on MTV Italia, i.e. a 24-hours program schedule dedicated to her, including a live concert where Consoli premiered several songs of the album. The Sanremo Music Festival 2000 (), officially the 50th Italian Song Festival (), was the 50th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo in late February 2000 and broadcast by (RAI). The show was presented by Fabio Fazio, supported by Luciano Pavarotti, Teo Teocoli and Inés Sastre. Henri Salvador (18 July 1917 – 13 February 2008) was a French Caribbean singer, comedian and cabaret artist. Biography Salvador was born in Cayenne, French Guiana. His father, Clovis, and his mother, Antonine Paterne, daughter of an Indigenous Carib, were both from Guadeloupe, French West Indies. Salvador had a brother, André, and a sister, Alice. "L'ultimo bacio" () is a 2000 song composed and performed by Carmen Consoli. One of Consoli's better known songs, its lyrics inspired the Gabriele Muccino's film with the same title (internationally known as ''The Last Kiss''). The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) or the Federation of the Italian Music Industry is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy.
