Stateside Puerto Ricans (), also ambiguously known as Puerto Rican Americans (, ), or Puerto Ricans in the United States, are Puerto Ricans who reside in the Contiguous United States, mainland United States. Stateside Virgin Islanders are Virgin Islanders who live in the U.S. states. Virgin Islanders are West Indian people born in (or from) the U.S Virgin Islands or the British Virgin Islands. The U.S Virgin Islands are an unincorporated territory of the United States. Individuals born in the U.S. Virgin Islands on or after January 17, 1917 are U.S. citizens. Stateside Records, styled as $tateside Records, is a British record label, owned by Warner Music Group and operates through its Parlophone and Warner Records imprints. Upon creation, it initially released licensed American recordings and is now a reissue label. History It was formed in 1962 by EMI as a replacement for the Top Rank label (originally the Rank Organisation's label), which had folded. EMI hired former Top Rank label head Fred Oxon to run it and compete with Decca's London "American Recordings", and Pye's " Pye International" labels. While Top Rank's British acts (such as John Leyton) were assigned to EMI's Columbia and His Master's Voice labels, Stateside continued to issue records from its American suppliers, including Amy, Bell, 20th Century Fox, Scepter, Vee-Jay and A&M, and acquired Tamla-Motown-Gordy from Oriole Records. Stateside (band)
Stateside were an Australian rock band from Brisbane, formed in 2014. The band consisted of guitarist Ethan Laenen, drummer Hamish Maguire, bassist Jackson Lehane, and vocalist Erin Reus. Stateside released three independent EPs: ''Burning Bridges'' (2015), ''Naïve'' (2017) and ''Havøc'' (2020). They broke up in 2020, without ever having released a studio album. Mel Tillis
Lonnie Melvin Tillis (August 8, 1932 – November 19, 2017) was an American country music singer and songwriter. Although he recorded songs since the late 1950s, his biggest success occurred in the 1970s as part of the outlaw country movement, with a long list of Top 10 hits. Tillis' biggest hits include " I Ain't Never", " Good Woman Blues", and " Coca-Cola Cowboy". On February 13, 2012, President Barack Obama awarded Tillis the National Medal of Arts for his contributions to country music. He also won the Country Music Association Awards' most coveted award, Entertainer of the Year. It marks her second mixtape release, following her debut mixtape '' To Hell with It'' (2021).
