State Highway 37 (Uttar Pradesh)
Uttar Pradesh State Highway 37 or SH 37 (also called Nainital Road) is a State Highway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India that connects Bareilly to Kichha, running through Baheri. History Earlier, before the separation of Uttarakhand, the road lead up to Nainital, covering a distance of 137 km (85 Miles) via Haldwani, kathgodam and was also a part of Bareilly-Almora-Bageshwar route. Route Uttar Pradesh State Highway 37 or Nainital Road, as it is called, starts from Kutubkhana in Bareilly and runs through 'Koharapeer Sabji-Mandi', Shrinathpuram Colony and 'Kodesia Railway Crossing' to reach Bareilly Mini Bypass (connecting it to Delhi – Lucknow National Highway 24 (India)) near Izzatnagar Railway Station. From there the road heads northwards passing the Bareilly Airport (or Trishul Air Base) before reaching Baheri. Bareilly () is a city in Bareilly district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. National Highways Development Project
The National Highways Development Project (NHDP) was a project of four laning of existing national highways and six laning of selected major national highways of India. The project was started in 1998 under the leadership of Prime Minister of India, Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. National Highway (India), National Highways account for only about 2% of the total length of roads, but carry about 40% of the total traffic across the length and breadth of the country. On 28 April 2010, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways officially published a new numbering system for the National Highway network in the Gazette of the Government of India. It is a systematic numbering scheme based on the orientation and the geographic location of the highway. This was adopted to ensure more flexibility and consistency in the numbering of existing and new national highways. Haridwar
Haridwar (; ; formerly Mayapuri) is a city and municipal corporation in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. Bareilly Airport is a domestic airport serving Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India at Indian Air Force's Trishul Air Base in Izzatnagar, located north from the city centre. History The Airports Authority of India approved construction of a passenger terminal at the Trishul Air Force Base. The district administration bought of land from local farmers for the project. The AAI began the tender process to award construction contracts for the airport in September 2017, and expected the civil enclave to be ready by March 2018, pending the approval from the Government of Uttar Pradesh. However, the IAF requested changes in the layout of the taxiway connecting the terminal to the runway. Izzatnagar is a locality in Bareilly in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The railway station it houses is one of the three Divisional Headquarters of North Eastern Railways.
