Stars Academy
''Stars Academy'' (; lit. ''Legend of a Musical Dream'') is a Hong Kong singing competition television series created and produced by television network TVB and its subsidiary TVB Music Group. The show has spanned two seasons in 2021–2022 with the aim of discovering unsigned young singing talents. The judges' panel featured various Hong Kong music executives, music producers, singer-songwriters, radio DJs, and music critics. The winners of the two seasons are Gigi Yim and Jasmine Yam. Format The singing competition spans multiple seasons, featuring pre-recorded rounds and a live finale. After Class (group)
After Class is a Hong Kong Cantopop girl group formed from Hong Kong broadcaster TVB's reality talent show in 2021. The group consists of four members: Gigi Yim, Windy Zhan, Chantel Yiu and Yumi Chung. They debuted on 27 November 2021, with the first single "Present For Future" (要為今日回憶). History 2021-22: Formation In 2021, after the success of of ViuTV, TVB started to create its own reality talent competition ''Stars Academy''. Janice M. Vidal (born 13 April 1982) is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer of mixed Filipino and Korean descent. Vidal was first discovered by music producer Mark Lui and initially began her career as a back-up singer for Leon Lai.
