Staple (EP)
Staple is a Christian hard rock/post-hardcore group from Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Staple was founded in 2000 when the members met at Rosedale Bible College in Ohio. History The first era (2000-2006) Staple released a full-length album and EP independently before signing to Flicker Records in 2004. They released their debut album, ''Staple'', in 2004, followed by a second, ''Of Truth and Reconciliation'', in 2005. They toured with Disciple, the Showdown, Kids in the Way, Demon Hunter, Last Tuesday, Dizmas, Stalemate, the 7 Method and Spoken. Mechanicsburg, Ohio
Mechanicsburg is a village in Champaign County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,681 at the 2020 census. History Mechanicsburg was platted in 1814. The village was so named for the fact a large share of its settlers worked as mechanics. By 1833, Mechanicsburg's industries included two stores, a gristmill and a saw mill. Mechanicsburg was incorporated as a village in 1834. During the antebellum years, because of its location on a tributary of the Ohio River, Mechanicsburg was used as a station on the Underground Railroad. The "conductor" Udney Hyde (1808-1887) is credited with helping more than 500 fugitive slaves on their way to freedom. Stalemate
Stalemate is a situation in chess where the player whose turn it is to move is not in check and has no legal move. Stalemate results in a draw. Stavesacre are an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California formed in 1995. The band is composed of vocalist Mark Salomon, guitarists Jeff Bellew and Ryan Dennee, bassist Dirk Lemmenes and drummer Sam West. Stavesacre has released six studio albums, two EPs, one split album, one compilation, and one DVD. In 2007, the band stated they would disband following the recording of new songs with original guitarist Jeff Bellew, who had departed in 1999 after the recording of ''Speakeasy''. Project 86 is an American rock band from Orange County, California, formed in 1996. The band has released twelve albums, which have collectively sold nearly 500,000 units worldwide, two EPs, two DVDs, and one live album. In 1998, BEC Recordings released a Project 86 (album), self-titled debut album that was well received by critics and consumers. Their second release, ''Drawing Black Lines'', garnered attention from mainstream record labels; Atlantic Records, Atlantic licensed the album from Tooth & Nail Records, the parent company of BEC. Living Sacrifice
Living Sacrifice is an American Christian metal band formed in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1989. The band has released eight studio albums, out of which the first three were recorded under R.E.X. Records with their original vocalist Darren Johnson, starting off as thrash metal, followed by death metal. The band evolved into a groove metal and metalcore style beginning with '' Reborn'' (1997) under Solid State Records with the original guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh on vocals. Israel Beachy was the bass guitarist for the Christian rock bands Staple and Disciple. Israel was born in Plain City, Ohio, United States and lived there with his three brothers and father. Israel graduated from Delaware Christian School in Delaware, Ohio in 1998. He was the bassist for Staple from 2000 to 2006, when they broke up.
