Stand Up Quezon
The Stand Up Quezon (Stan Q; Solidarity for Transformation, Advancement and Nationalism towards a Dynamic, United and Progressive Quezon Province), is a Quezon-based local political organization. It is currently led by its founder incumbent Governor Angelina Tan. History Stan Q was founded in July 8, 2024 by Angelina "Helen" Tan to prepare for the 2025 Provincial elections, started with signing of coalition agreement with the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC). In the time of the coalition agreement signed, 226 of 430 local officials joined the party ranks. Angelina Tan
Angelina "Helen" de Luna Tan, (born October 1, 1971) is a Filipina physician and politician who serves as governor of Quezon since 2022. She is the first woman to hold the office. Previously from 2013 to 2022, she served as a three-term representative of Quezon's 4th district. Quezon (province)
Quezon, officially the Province of Quezon () and historically known as Tayabas, is a province in the Philippines located in the Calabarzon region on Luzon. Quezon Provincial Board
The Quezon Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Quezon. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting: the province is divided into four districts, the first and third districts sending two members each, and the second and fourth districts sending three members each to the provincial board; the number of candidates the electorate votes for and the number of winning candidates depends on the number of members their district sends. The legislative districts of Quezon are the representations of the province of Quezon and the highly urbanized city of Lucena in the various national legislatures of the Philippines.
